Hospital Tour


    Within the framework of the 24th EAHM Congress, the FHL and the Luxembourgish hospitals organised in Luxembourg a dedicated visit tour of three specialized institutions. The participants had the opportunity to discover patient care organization, discuss the added value of latest technologies in medical protocols and share experiences and best practices with professionals.

    • REHAZENTER | Focus on Rehabilitation | 27 November 2013

        Rehazenter (CNRFR) is a hospital specializing in physical therapy and rehabilitation. Its missions are: providing stationary and ambulatory care treatment, functional rehabilitation, rehabilitation of injured persons. In addition, the hospitaldevelops scientific and clinical research programs in the field of physical therapy and rehabilitation. The Rehazenter is a place of learning for rehabilitation.

        The hospital is under the direction of Dr Gérard Grenot, General Director.

    • Centre François Baclesse | Focus on Radiotherapy | 27 November 2013

        Centre François Baclesse is a nonprofit institution which takes in charge cancer patients within an integrated care protocols. Protocols are implemented with the support of a multidisciplinary team that involves GPs and all public and private hospitals. The Centre is indeed specialized for providing curative or palliative care in radiotherapy. The Centre François Baclesse is strongly involved in the monitoring of patients as well.

      • INCCI – Institut National de Chirurgie Cardiaque et de Cardiologie Interventionnelle is a foundation providing a national service in : Interventional Cardiology and ensuring all surgical procedures on the heart and large intrathoracic vessels, as well as all surgical procedures requiring the assistance of an extra corporeal circulation.
